SEC Certifies Results of Primaries; Calls for Recounts, Runoffs
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - June 13, 2008
COLUMBIA, SC-The State Election Commission met at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2008, as the State Board of Canvassers to certify the results of the June 10, 2008 Republican and Democratic Primaries. Official primary results can be found at www.SCVotes.org. The Board ordered recounts and runoffs in contests listed below. Recounts will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, June 16, 2008. Runoffs will be conducted on Tuesday, June 24, 2008.
